John L. Snow III, CFA
Trey Snow serves Brockenbrough as Managing Director and Senior Equity Strategist, primarily responsible for assisting with the oversight and management of the firm’s investment products.
Trey joined the firm in 2026 and has over 30 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Brockenbrough, he was Senior Research Analyst at The London Company of Virginia, where he directed the firm’s research activities and mentored a team of fundamental analysts. His career includes roles across the buy-side, sell-side, and hedge fund sectors at institutions such as the Teachers and Employees Retirement System of Georgia, Ridgeworth Capital Management, Priority Capital Management, and BB&T Capital Markets.
Trey holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. with a Finance concentration, both from Virginia Tech. In addition to his work at Brockenbrough, Trey is an active member of the CFA Societies of Richmond, North Carolina, and Washington D.C./Baltimore. Additionally, he serves on advisory boards for Virginia Tech and is involved in supporting several local community missions.

What gets you out of bed?
I absolutely love investing and am incredibly passionate about it. I get excited about coming to work every day and wrestling with the markets, never knowing what surprise awaits me.
If you had to do one chore for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I love cooking and worked in many restaurants in my early years. I find cooking challenging but very cathartic and rewarding. It is also another great avenue to serve others.
