2025 Year End Reflection

2025 Year End Reflection

Dear Brockenbrough Friends,

This was a momentous year of transition and celebration at Brockenbrough. After 25 years at 1802 Bayberry Court, we moved into our new office at 920 Libbie Avenue. This move represents a significant step in our firm’s development, allowing us to continue to grow in a modern and collaborative environment. In September, we were delighted to welcome clients and friends to our new space—which was met with tremendous enthusiasm and support. Thank you to those who came to celebrate with us.

We lost our firm's co-founder and friend, Jim Lowe, in a year in which the firm he helped establish marked its 55th year in business. As we reflect on this milestone, we honor the legacy and values that have shaped our firm since its founding—many of them instilled by Jim, whose influence on our culture and commitment to our clients continues today. While we look forward with fresh optimism and purpose to serving our clients in ways that were unimaginable 55 years ago, we remain deeply grateful for the values that have influenced our history and the relationships that will guide our future.

I was particularly pleased to welcome Matt Shaia to our Executive Committee. Matt’s leadership and operational experience over the last 12 years have made a profound impact, which will continue as he serves alongside the rest of our Management Team. We also welcomed Anna Clark and Grace Sisserson to the team this year, strengthening our client service capabilities.

In early November, the Brockenbrough Foundation held its annual Day of Service at St. Joseph’s Villa, an incredible organization that provides daytime support services for children and adults with special needs. Our group was excited to revitalize the welcome room and training space for the employees at the Villa. I want to thank outgoing Foundation Board Chair, Rebecca Kovach. During her term, Rebecca brought engaging and infectious leadership to our Foundation team.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and all the best in the New Year.
